Dry Brushing: The Dry Exfoliation Technique I Love!

A lot of people were curious about the Dry Brushing technique, a way to exfoliate dry skin using a brush or sponge! So, today we are going to talk a little bit about it!

This is a body care fever that seems new, but actually, it is not. In France, people were already including the step in the beauty routine in the 50's. The technique can be weird because when you talk about exfoliation, you think of a pasty product being rubbed on the body or the brush itself with a liquid soap or something.

The cool thing about this technique is that it goes beyond ordinary exfoliation. Long known in Chinese medicine and ayurveda, dry scrub also has the power to drain toxins from your body, helps reduce cellulite, is relaxing and also has a detox effect, helping in fluid retention. Other than that, it is a super simple self-care thing to be done and that we feel the results in our body right after doing it.

Physically speaking, dry scrub will help you have very soft skin. Really, it's so nice to rub your legs and arms after exfoliating ... The technique also helps those with folliculitis and getting dead skin cells.

And to do the exfoliation is very simple: you take a body brush (or a bath sponge) and gently go through dry skin before taking a shower. You can go all over the body without problems! I like to say that the technique is also self-care, so take your time to exfoliate your skin. Do it calmly and with a light hand so you don't get hurt.

After exfoliation, just take a normal shower and use a powerful moisturizer to take care of the skin, especially now in such dry and cold weather. If you have very sensitive skin, it is better not to do the brushing every day, ok?
